Obituary of Gerarda Wilhelmina Toonen

On Thursday, February 9th, 2017; Gerarda Wilhelmia Toonen of Strathroy at the age of 86 went to Heaven to be with her daughter. Beloved wife of Bill for 60 years. Loving mother of Bert (Lin) Toonen, Pete (late Debbie, 2013) Toonen, late Helma, 2016 (Greg) Luyten, Corenia Kemp, Willy (Lia) Toonen and John (Patti) Toonen. Cherished Oma of Sandra (Dave), Willy (Crystal), Jenna, Nathan (Ava), Jeff, Helena (Brad), Kathy (Dave), Stephanie, John (Dianne), Candice, Robyn, Jordyn, Josie, Brittany (Andy), T.J (Alicia) and Emily. Great Oma to Hailey, Riley, Logan, Kimberly, Maverick, Nolan, Charlie and Adrianna. Survived by her brothers Francis and Pete along with many relatives in the Netherlands. Predeceased by her 3 brothers and her only sister. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Sunday, February 12th, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, on Monday, February 13th, 2017 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
