Obituary of Robert John Shanks

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge on Sunday, October 2nd, 2016; Robert “Bob” Shanks of Strathroy and formerly of Blenheim passed away in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Virginia for 65 years. Loving father of Paul (Ellen) Shanks of London, Becky (Dave) Marshall of Owen Sound and Debbie (Roger McMurphy) Shanks of Ivan. Cherished Grandpa of Becky, Kate, Stephanie, Kyle and Keely. Great-grandfather of Hartley, Annabel, Marshall, Alyssa, Stella and Hudson. Survived by his sister-in-law Betty Douglas of Cheboygan, Michigan. The family of Bob would like to thank the nurses and staff at Strathmere Lodge (Arbour Glen Floor) for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place.
