Obituary of Gwendolyn Ann Brooks

Brooks, Gwendolyn Ann (nee Foster). It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gwen Brooks in her 81st year at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Norman for nearly sixty years. Dear mother of Rod (Heather), Brad (Shirley) and Jeff (Linda). Loving grandmother to Andrew (Briana), Cassandra and Ian. Predeceased by her parents George and Laura Foster, her brother Jim and his wife Eva, sisters-in-law Irene and Marion and brothers-in-law Bill and Jack Brooks. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Betty Brooks, Jean Brooks, Betty Cowan (Harlon) and several nieces and nephews. Gwen was a dedicated member of St. Paul's Anglican Church and a life long member of Kerwood Women's Institute. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, from 6-9 pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home with a Funeral Service at the funeral home on Wednesday December 31st at 11 am. Rev Peter Leonard officiating. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
