Martin Field

Surrounded by his loving family on August 16, 2023, Martin Field passed away at the age of 69. He was the loving husband of Deborah Field for 47 cherished years. Proud father of Diana Field, Daniella (Ron) Banks, Lawrence Field, and Rebecca (Tom Crandon) Field. Marty was the grandpa of Jordan, Spencer, Christina Banks, Khloe and Bella Field-Crandon, and great-grandpa to Jaxon and Ryder Banks. Marty is survived by his sisters Judith (Robert) Cox, Arlene (Ben) Rogers, and Cindy (Fred) Temple. Marty was predeceased by his parents Violet and Lyell Field and his brother Edward Field.

Marty spent 48 incredible years working for Food Basics and A&P. During this time, Marty developed many close relationships with his colleagues and customers. One of Marty’s true passions was his garden, where loved to spend time outdoors tending to his flowers and vegetables.

Visitation will be held on Monday August 21, 2023, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm and from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. A funeral service will be held the following day on Tuesday August 22, 2023, at 2:00pm at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
