Our deepest condolences on the loss of your Mother. What a difficult time it has been for your family these last few years; first with the loss of your Dad and now your Mom, both through terrible illnesses. We really loved and appreciated the video tribute that you posted. It brought back fond memories of your parents and you as well.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I had the honour to work with her for years on 4th floor at SMGH. Mieke was the true example of a kind, loving and caring person. Her smile was contagious. It was with great sadness that we learned of Mieks's illness and passing. Mieke played ukulele with our group - CRackerS at the North Caradoc Presbyterian church since the group was formed. She was quick to laugh and make a joke and was a skilled player in no time. Mieke was a force of joy and light, together we played at so many community events, at churches and fund raisers for the caring cupboard, at nursing homes and at her anniversary with Martin. Alays full of humour and fun she is very much missed. I am certain that she is sharing her fun laughter and playing her ukulele with Martin in heaven.
Rest in peace Mieke.

My sincere condolences to the Postma family. Mieke was one of my ukulele buddies at CRackerS (Strathroy ukulele club). I loved her bubbly personality. After a long time without our weekly jams due to the Corona pandemic, the players began meeting again last month, but Mieke wasn't among us. It was then that I learned of her health condition. I was saddened by it and I am even more distraught today about the news of her passing. The ukulele players are currently practising Christmas songs for our gig in December. I will personally dedicate my participation in our Christmas gig to Mieke. RIP my dear friend.

My deepest sympathy to Mike, Greg and Joanne and their families in the loss of their Mom. Mieke became a dear friend when we became neighbour's more than 10 years ago. We shared so many laughs, stories, sometimes tears over the fence; solved life's problems, or so we thought, and then we would laugh.
