So very sorry for your loss, Lou. Fred's parents were neighbours of ours when we moved to Strathroy and I would enjoy many a conversation with Eileen getting to know you and Fred through her eyes. It was later when I met Fred as a caring and knowledgeable optician. He will indeed be missed.

I met Fred as a teenaged boy, as he worked with and for my father. As time went on I became an optician to join our family business. There is so much Fred taught me. As it turned out I eventually became Fred’s boss. He was more than dedicated and hard working. “FREDDIE” was special. I am so sorry for your loss Lou. His face would light up whenever he spoke of you. I am truly grateful for the years I got to spend with my buddy. And am thankful for all he did for me. Rest In Peace Fred . You will always be remembered and missed.

I’m so very sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. He always treated myself & my family so well. Even our son Bradley who was constantly breathing his glasses, Fred would just chuckle and fix them for him. Never charged him. He was a good man with a big heart. He will be missed xo
