Obituary of Stephen Gordon Cochrane

It is with sad hearts we announce  the passing of Stephen Gordon Cochrane at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on June 19^th, 2021; at the age of 71. Beloved husband of 48 cherished years to Anne Cochrane. Proud father of Allison Cochrane and Lindsay (Carl) Linker. Adored grandpa of Anika, Ash, Akira Atkinson; Talia and Lege Pompili; Owen and Olivia Linker. Special brother to Laura Van Zanden, Marian Strom, Michael Cochrane and Maureen (David) Lee. Brother-in-law of Peter Frederick (Kathy) Beaumont. Stephen will be sadly missed by Roger (Linda) Viaene, his extended family and many friends.

Stephen was a dedicated lab technician at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital for over 37 years. He spent his later years in retirement flying model airplanes and vacationing in several countries. Stephen was a devoted Knights of Columbus member. He was a board member at Columbus Estates for several years and eventually became director.

In keeping with Stephen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, June 24^th, 2021.
