With heavy hearts and great sadness, we share the passing of Hannelore Anne Marie Piesche on Friday, October 23, 2020. Hannelore was predeceased by her husband Franz Piesche April 27, 2007. Beloved mother and friend to Catja Piesche and Gene Oswald. Lovingly remembered by David (Rose), Andrew (Cheryl), Roger and Taylor (Bill) and many great-grandchildren.

Born in Jena, Germany Hannelore, Franz and little Catja immigrated to Canada and settled in Strathroy where they built there home themselves. Over many years created a comfortable and content home with a beautiful and peaceful garden enjoyed by family and many friends. 

She was an avid gardener enjoyed reading baking swimming travelling and having friends over in the afternoon for coffee and cake. 

At her request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be arranged next August around her birthday when we can gather again. 

Thank you to all of her friends and neighbours who were so dedicated and kind. Thanks to Strathmere Lodge and all its dedicated hardworking thoughtful kind staff who provide care and comfort to their residents.
