Well she was one in a million I called her " my garden lady " so many hours shared in her beautiful backyard. There was always a flurry of conversation around travel , politics , tennis, soccer, and of course " when can you come again. Hanne made my life richer every time we dug the dirt plucked the weeds and made that yard perfect. She was someone who took pride in what she did and a lil bit of a rebel at times but what a dresser . She was so proud of her Catja and also very proud to be a Candian but never forgetting her land of birth. Many people pass through ones years of living we certainly do not remember then all but some we never ever forget and Hanne was one of those people to be. Memories will never die and that is such a wonderful thing.

Hanne and Frank weren't just neighbours to us. They were like family. We had so many wonderful conversations and I'm just sorry we can't have many more. Every morning Hanne would phone with the words: "I hope I didn't wake you." She always made us feel welcome when we went over, and we enjoyed many, many happy hours in her garden together. We will always miss her and Frank and keep them in our hearts.
"Pull out the little weed, too", Hanne would always say. We always will Hanne, for you.

Mrs. Piesche, We are so saddened to see the passing of your mother. She was such a sweet kind soul and so kind to us all. It was such a pleasure getting to know her as a neighbour on a more personal level. Brett always shared stories your mom had shared with him and he really did enjoy working for her. She will be deeply missed and you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sending you virtual hugs. xo
