Dear Peter, Georgie, Connor, Spencer, and Mr. John Battersby,
From myself and the Janecka family we offer the deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you and the entire extended Battersby family for your loss. It broke our heart to learn that Willo has passed.
She was kind and she was a very generous person who always had a pleasant greeting. She had the voice of an angel and provided the most generous reassuring words that helped reassure a growing boy who was trying to find himself and his way in the world. Even when he stumbled in her presence.
She will live eternally in my heart and in my memories. .

Dear John and Jennifer and family. So very sorry for your loss!! I didn’t know Willo but I wanted to express my condolences. John, we worked together on visual arts curriculum committees for the Middlesex County board of Ed when you were the visual arts consultant and you taught me a lot about teaching art. You were always fun, cheerful and encouraging! I hope the years have been good to you and your family! Jennifer, we knew one another from ELM center in Glencoe and discovered I had worked with your dad. I’m still in Glencoe and retired from Ekcoe 8 years ago.

I had the pleasure of having Willo as one of my clients when I worked at Strathmere Lodge.
It was a short time that we spent together but she was an amazing woman and I was happy to call her not only my client but my friend as well.
When she smiled she lit up a room especially when she saw her husband as did his as well.
The stories I loved. Just the way she put her heart and soul and passion into them.I loved being where she was living at the time because she would always ring and I would go and she would ask me every time I went into her room. Tammy would you possibly have time for a quick story. I never turned her stories down at all. Willo had told me they where amazing and so sweet and the way she would tell the stories it was with so much love and affection and soul, every time she would say Tammy it feels like only yesterday, that's how she would be her stories with so much love and passion.
She will be truely missed.

Wilo was a wonderful friend, warm kind and always considerate. She always knew just what to say to make you feel loved and appreciated, whether in person or with a lovely card, note or poem, I have many that I cherish and have kept.
