Obituary of Rennie Feddema

In His time the Lord called home Rennie Feddema in her 83rd year as well has her beloved husband William Luinstra in his 87th year on August 27, 2020. Rennie was predeceased by her husband John Feddema, 2007 and William predeceased by his wife Joanne Luinstra, 2004. Rennie and William will be dearly missed by their families. Rennie loving mom to Janette, Frieda (Paul), Alice (Mel), Jack (Kelly) and Irene. William loving father of Wayne who predeceased him in 2000 (Aline) and his surviving children Ray (Marilyn), Tim (Cathy), Marleen, Brian (Kim). 

 

Rennie was a caring grandma to 10 grandchildren and proud Beppe to 12 great grandchildren.

Rennie will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters. Harry and Rick, (predeceased Don) Linde, Effie and Menno and Jack.  Rennie will be sadly missed and remembered by the extended Feddema family, many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

Rennie was very committed to serving in her church and the community as a Municipal Councillor, the President of Ontario Farm Womens Network and active in many volunteer organizations.

 

William was a special Opa and will be dearly missed by 11 grandchildren (Michelle, Jacob, Kristen, Alexa, Jaqueline, Craig, Ariel, Everett, Annika, Kylen and Samuel).  He will be missed by his brother (Dierk) and sisters (Marike and Jannie) as well as the extended Poot Family.  He will also be sadly missed and remembered by his cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends.

William touched the lives of many his working years at OPG and involvement in many community committees and volunteer organizations in both Kincardine and Strathroy.

 

Rennie and William lived their lives full of faith expressed in their devotion to their families and their passionate involvement in their church and communities.

 

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.” Proverbs 3: 5-6

 

Visitation will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, Strathroy on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 and continuing Wednesday September 2, 2020. Interment to follow at Watford Cemetery.
