Very sorry to hear of the tragic loss of Mrs. Feddema and her husband. Had been in recent contact with Mrs. Feddema. As a former teacher at LDCSS I was always encouraged but her strong faith, intelligence and commitment to the development of God's kingdom through relationships and institutions. Recently I, as a board member of the Institute for Christian Studies, and of which institution she was a longtime supporter, had discussion with her about that "kingdom" and its various aspects. Personally and on behalf of the ICS, I wish God's special comfort and strength to family and friends as you miss Rennie and grieve. The "kingdom" here on earth has lost another saint. John Joosse

We had the privilege of knowing John and Rennie for many years. They were neighbours of ours on Scothmere, and then again when they moved to Inadale Drive. Rennie served on municipal council for many years and we often rode together to council meetings. Rennie was not afraid to ask tough questions and she didn't back down from anyone. She served her community in so many ways. We didn't get much of an opportunity to get to know William but often saw him out in the country on his bike, as recently as just a couple of weeks ago. Our hearts go out to the Feddema and Luinstra families. Please take some comfort in knowing that Rennie and William lived their lives to the fullest.

Our condolences to all the families as you mourn this unexpected and tragic loss.
I have a many wonderful memories of Rennie's dedication to family and community.
Rennie will always be remembered for the important role she played in the establishment of the Ontario Farm Women's Network. We worked together over many years during it's founding and Rennie took on the responsibilities of becoming it's first official Chair.
Rennie always had a strong sense of justice and fairness. She felt that she owed it to her community to 'pay it forward' for the benefits she and her family enjoyed in their lives. I can see from the many tributes that she and Bill lived that commitment to the very end.
I hope that your shared memories will bring a smile and laughter to ease your sadness. May God bless and give you peace in a difficult time.
Maria and Rene

Our hearts and thoughts go out to Irene and the rest of the Feddema & Luinstra families as you deal with this tragedy. I did not have the pleasure of meeting Rennie & Bill, but by reading about their lives, and comments from friends and family, I can tell they were good people who made a positive impact on everyone they met.
Acts of kindness and goodwill are like ripples on a pond which expand outward and grow larger as they go. Just one of these acts has the power to affect many people, across many years. Just one of these acts can change the world. Rennie and Bill created many, many ripples in their lives. Their energy continues to spread throughout the universe, smiling on everyone as it goes.

Our sympathies go to the family of Rennie and Bill. We especially remember Rennie for her great involvement in our Family life. Memories some flooding in such as the family weddings way back when, the family reunions, etc. The comments and questions on our Bos family egroup which Bell for some reason would not let her on and she sure wanted to know the reason why. Loved her for keeping us on track. Loved her for her last email to our own in box a few weeks ago when she asked with such concern about how Henry was doing. We will all miss her and an another older Cousin. Who will now keep us younger ones and not so young ones up on family history. Prayers and Cyber hugs to all of the family

Dear family of Rennie and William: We would like to extend our condolences and love to all of you as you grapple with your sudden loss! We are praying that our Lord may comfort you knowing that they loved their Lord and Savior and He has now taken them home together! Janice has many memories of her cousin Rennie from when she was married to John, skits that John and Rennie did at wedding receptions, visits at our home in Strathroy, her active participation in Bos family reunions, phone calls when her Tante Elly was in her 90's and we could share memories of our two Mom's, Tante Elly and Tante Jans. Then we were blessed to attend the wedding of Rennie and William and enjoy the last visits which were combined ones with Uncle Ralph and Aunt Coby. May our Lord also bless you with many memories! Hugs and prayers, Henk and Janice Van Dam (Boersema)

I was truly saddened to hear of their deaths. Rennie and Bill were neighbours of my father. My father had known Rennie for many years and was glad to see her when he moved into the building. I saw them often when I visited him. They were genuinely kind and caring to my father. Bill would take the newspaper to my father every day while he was in the hospital and both he and Rennie visited him while he was at the Watford nursing home. I was grateful for their kindness and compassion. They truly lived their faith. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
