Deepest condolences to the entire family, I have very fond memories of Dini, whom I had the pleasure of working with in the Kenwick Mall, and Daniel's Pharmacy days. I visited her & Gil often at Treasure house. Dini was my sponsor when I became a Catholic so many years ago so have a special place in my heart for her. She was an inspiration, always with a smile, she loved her family and friends deeply. RIP my friend. Hugs to the family Sherri Silva

Dear Gil and Family
So very saddened to hear of the loss of the " Love of your Life" . It was a great pleasure to know Diny - she was a joy to visit and shop from at The Treasure House (and you too Gil ! ) We always loved going into the Treasure House, seeing you both Downtown Strathroy, as fellow business merchants, and as friends. She stepped many miles with you on the your walks, and she was a master at crafts with her fine talents. Her laughter, her talents and her friendship will always be fondly remembered in our Hearts ! Our hearts go out to you and your family and a Big Hug to you Gil. Love Doug and Marion Smith

This is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful lady. And the choice of music is on point!
My Dad was a soldier in The Netherlands during the war and my Mom LOVED shopping at The Treasure House so they both enjoyed visiting with Diny in the store.
Condolences to the entire family. She was a special lady.

Dear Gil,
Our very sincere condolences to you and your family. Diny was indeed a wonderful person that we are so grateful to know and "A proud Canadian by choice" so defined her love for this country and many other things like family and friends and organizations that she worked so hard for their existence. To this day we enjoy flowers transplanted from her garden many years ago.
God bless you and your family in these sad and difficult times.

I will always remember Diny (Mrs Craenen as she was to me at first as I d known her since I was in Grade School with Perry) when I think of anytime I worked or shopped in downtown Strathroy.
The Kenwick Mall as well as her Main St store locations put her (& Gil usually lovingly standing behind her) in the perfect spot for me to catch up with things once in a while. Often our 'small talk' conversations would turn into 20 or 30 min. conversations.
I know Connie & Perry & kids as well as Linda & John (& their families) can lean on each other as they share memories of her & her love.
