Obituary of Leslie Griffiths

Griffiths, Leslie It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Leslie Griffiths on March 31, 2020 at Sprucedale Care Centre. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann Griffiths. Cherished father to Gregory Griffiths and Graham (Lori) Griffiths. Proud grandfather of Ciara and Travis Griffiths. Deeply missed by brothers Barry (Dynese) Griffiths, Allan (Miriam) Griffiths and Derek Griffiths. Loving uncle to Wayne, Carolyn, Sonia, Erica, Sean and many other great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Jeffrey Griffiths and parents Oswald and Kathleen (nee Ironmonger) Griffiths. Leslie was greatly involved and a long time member of the board of directors for the Alice Saddy Association of London Ontario, VON in Strathroy and the Strathroy Horticultural Society. Leslie was an executive with Zellers and had a very successful long career with positions in Ontario and the Maritime before retiring in Strathroy. He was also involved with the book sales and the Bird Watching club at the Strathroy Library. Leslie spent quite a bit of time with the Mall Walking group making lots of friends. He loved the outdoors and Strathroy's local history. Leslie embraced the community of Strathroy and remained in the town after Shirley’s passing. Cremation has taken place.
