My thoughts are with you at this time. Your father was our family GP when we lived there and I would come back to Strathroy to see him even when I moved on. He was always so kind, and respectful, providing the highest standard of care. In my professional life when I would describe the ideal physician your father was who I described.
Our Mom loved working alongside your father at the Hospital. Though he never let her in the OR . Mom in administration and your father as Physician worked collaboratively to ensure there were high standards at the hospital.
On a more personal level I had many happy times at the busy home on Parnell Lane.
I am glad your father lived such a full life well loved by Mary and Angie, all the children-generations of, friends, and community. The true sign of success.

My very deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. Some of my earliest memories are of your Dad and Angie and your house on Pannell Lane. I remember it being such a happy, busy place... playing with Cathy's Barbie's that she had grown out of, playing in the field being your house and getting spoiled by your mom still seem fresh in my mind. In later years, your Dad always had a moment when I would run into him for a hug and a quick chat, always making me smile. He was such a kind, great man.

Good bye to a Dear Friend,
I have been so fortunate to have shared an incredible 60 year friendship with Pat. We have had many high points and we have rallied through soome extreme lows but always found comport in friendship.
Fin and I first met Pat in 1960 when he and Angie moved their young( and rapidly expanding) family to Strathroy. Pat was a surgeon eager to fill a need in Strathroy and Angie was a busy wife and mother.
Overtime the Crowley's moved into a new home behind us. We could see the lights on in the Crowley kitchen and they could see ours. There were many trips through Mr Locke's field to visit each other. Together we spent many cold winter hours at the curling rink. It was a good time.
Tragedy struck in the spring of 1973. Pat drew strength from his Family, Faith and Friends after his beloved Angela died.
Times brightened again when Pat courted and married Mary Another match made in heaven. After significant renovations, Pat and Mary moved their blended family into the house on Caradoc Street. Again I could see the kitchen lights in the Crowley house and they could see ours. This time we took the path through the gully for our visits. Pat and Mary and Fin and I enjoyed many day trips and for several years the Temple's and the Crowley's overlapped winter vacations while renting the same condo in Fort Myers Florida..
In December 2018 I called Pat to wish him a happy 91st birthday. I dialed 245-0255 as i had so many times over the years. Pat answered and we chatted and caught up on who was doing what over the holidays. To my amazement Pat was in Vancouver at Cathy's house for Christmas. Pops was so proud of his children and their families. Good times.

Our sympathy to the Crowley family at this difficult time. Dr Pat was an amazing man and certainly a gifted surgeon . We farm at Kinkora 2 farms west of where Dr Pat grew up . My father was close to his age . My uncle Leo was the same age as Dr Pat With 6 brothers in my fathers family and 2 Mc Donnell boys living across the road ad 2 more White boys living across the road from our farm there was always enough guys for a ' game ' as Dr Pat put it . He talked of a good game of shinny on the frozen pond or a game of scrub in the horse pasture. I had the privilege of visiting him several times this year in 201 as well as sitting with him on the front porch of the MOUNT . In visiting with him it would not be very long till he would be discussing old times in Kinkora . He mentioned several times how important having the High School in Kinkora was to him . He felt that he would never have been a surgeon otherwise because there was no way to get from Kinkora to Stratford every day . In his heart he really never left Kinkora . We are so sorry for your loss. Our memories of Pat and Angie go back to the 1950s, when we were all in Detroit . Both men were surgical residents.
After a convention in San Francisco, the four of us took a trip south for 4 or5 days
and had a wonderful time. Many good times were had during those years.
