Obituary of Maria Wolf

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Wolf on February 2nd, 2019 at 92 years of age. Predeceased by her husband Martin (2003), and their daughter Julianna (2004). Mary will be greatly missed her sons John and Marty. Cherished grandmother to Julie (Kyle), Michael (Laura), their mother Anne. Josh (Jenny), Lindsey, their mother Bertha. Proud great-grandma to Avery and Vincent. Mary came to Canada as a young woman with martin, their young son John, daughter Julianna and her parents Johann and Magdalena in 1953 from post war Germany. The family then settled in the Strathroy area where Mary worked and raised her family as the wife of a tobacco farmer. Many thanks to the staff in Hickory Woods of Strathmere Lodge for their Exceptional Care during her later years. Close friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Friday, February 8th,2019. Private family Interment will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or the MS Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
