Obituary of Maria Anna Wester

Peacefully, with family by her side at Sprucedale Care Centre on Saturday, December 1st, 2018; Maria Anna Wester of Strathroy passed away at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius Wester (2002). Loving mother of Wilma (Tony), Marie (Agé), Nellie (John), Peter (Merry), Maggie (Jack), John (Pat), Cathy (Jim), Anne (Bryan) and Cor (Cathie). Cherished Oma of 22 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Sam (Maria) Ruiter, sister-in-law Catherine Ruiter and brothers-in-law Peter and Nick Wester. Predeceased by her infant daughter in 1952. The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at Sprucedale for the care given to Maria in her time there. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Wednesday, December 5th, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 124 Front St E, Strathroy; on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment in Sacred Heart in the Fields Cemetery.
