Obituary of Richard Arvid Dewing

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, November 26th, 2018; Richard Arvid Dewing went home to the Lord at the age of 70. Dear husband of Lynn Dewing (neé Bain). Proud father of Laura (Curtis) Sheena, Zapherah Dewing, Danny Dewing, Jesse Dewing and Jennifer (Garrett) Martindale. Cherished grandfather of Roxanne, Jorden, Jessica, Faith, Emma and James. Survived by his brother Tom Dewing. Loving stepfather of Celeste (David) Pennington and Brook (Karli) Childerhose and step-grandfather of Rowan and Brennan. Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Eva Dewing and sister Betty Dewing. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. in Lumby Cemetery followed by a Memorial Gathering at Grace Bible Church of Vernon, 5661 Silver Star Rd, Vernon, BC at 2 p.m. Richard’s favourite charity was the Voice of the Martyrs, if anyone wishes to make a donation in his memory.
