Although I only knew Darryl for a year, I believe that his input and training during my rookie season has altered my time with patrol forever. From his levelheadedness to his witty humour Darryl impacted my rookie season at boler immensely. I am so thankful to have had him as an instructor and a fellow snowboarder who I learned and bettered myself from. I will always remember those scrabble games where we talked about how we 'bend' the rules, and the fun times I had with team E. Im so sorry for the loss of my fellow patroller and I wish all the best to his family and friends. Darryl, you will truly be missed.
