Obituary of Anna Eva Brent

Peacefully and pain free on Friday August 10, 2018 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of Gordon who passed in 1987.  Predeceased by her sister Marjorie and husband Wilfred Sinclair of Mississauga. Mother of two sons, Daniel of Strathroy and his partner Louise Best; Paul of Stittsville, Ontario and his wife, Jo Ann. Much loved by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Born on a farm in Adelaide Township in 1921 Anna graduated as a Registered Nurse from Strathroy General Hospital and nursed for nearly 40 years, in more than a dozen communities as her husband moved up the ranks in the Canadian Army. Anna loved to dance, was outgoing with a quick wit that could bring a smile even in her later years. She moved back to Strathroy for her retirement. Following her wishes there will be no funeral and cremation arrangements handled by DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023. Interment at a later date. Special thanks to the floor staff at Strathmere Lodge for their care.
