She and Marie Green took me under their wings many years ago and started me in the Strathroy Chorale that I enjoyed until baby number three came along and then Phyllis and I sang in the Strathroy UC. choir until she retired from singing.

She loved you girls so much, she was so very proud of you and your care for your Mom was phenomenal. You were always there for her and made your visits so caring. She loved when the grandchildren and great-grandchildren visited. Your Mom had a great sense of humour and could give you what for when you needed it. For the family of Phyllis:
I will always remember what a special lady she was. She was so meek, gentle and kind. At choir I would always step in when others tried to say Phyllis will do it with me - I would interrupt and say well perhaps we should ask Phyllis, so she had an out if she didn't want or have time to do whatever they were signing her up for. I enjoyed doing her hair all the years I did and not surprisingly she was my favourite. Our world needs more people like Phyllis. Hold onto your memories and let them give you comfort to carry you through this sad time. Keeping you all in my prayers. Heaven will be rejoicing to have such a wonderful woman like her joining the ranks!!!

Phyllis was very special to me; I loved the way she took my hand and hold on!
It was so nice to see how Phyllis's daughters looked after her through her stay at Sprucedale! It was also so comforting to see those same daughters put Phyllis's comfort ahead of their own grieving, you are special ladies! It was an honour to be able to care for your mom.
