Obituary of Robert Edward Pierce

Pierce, Robert Edward September 16, 1951 – March 16th, 2018 After a brief illness, at the age of 66, Bob Pierce has passed away. Cherished father of Tracy Elhassan and Sarah (Hans) Nieuwets. Beloved grandfather of Nafeasa, Tyrel, Tariq, Nashiah, Malakai, Max; and Ava and Xander Nieuwets. Dear brother of Joan (Grant) Whiteside, John (Debbie), and Laverne (Diane). Special uncle to Brad (Bev, Elizabeth, Grant) and Steve Whiteside, and Jeff (Krista, Logan, Julia) and Matt (Rachalle) Pierce. Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Jean. Bob was a stone mason and a farmer who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed time fishing and at the racetrack with his good friend Shawn Laughton (Caroline, McKailey, Mallory). Special thanks to St. Joseph’s Hospice for their caring help with Bob. Friends will be received on Monday, March 19th, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, where a Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph's Hospice of London would be appreciated by the family.
