I was one of Ellie's caregivers and when I heard Ellie had passed I was saddened by the news. I often think of her and the time we had together watching TCM and talking about her days growing up during the war. She will be missed.
It was our privilege to know Eloise and consider her a friend. A loyal customer at our flower shop. It was always refreshing to see Eloise at the Law Office keeping Murray in his place. Condolences to the family.

Bob and family, many years we spent together at Grand Bend labour day weekends, was very happy times with Elly and Don , and Williams families , sad for Elly , its ironic as i am in Hiilman Mich ice fishing til Wednesday , so i will not be there , but am sure my Daughter Mary-Lyn will take care of you folks as the Denning catre continues on thru the 4th generation , condolence from Lynn and myself .
My memories go back to Elly and Don ,my parents freinds, in the summer the boating together ,winter it was ski doing .then back to cottage for a meal and a get together with freinds.Elly was a wonderful lady always a smile .I remember when I was a child Elly and Don lived next door to us and Elly would visit and would brush my long hair.i have so many great memories I don't think I could list them all.RIP Elly .
We had the absolute pleasure of knowing Don and Ellie for most of our lives. They spent countless years up on the Ausable river where they enjoyed their cottage, and where many great memories were made. Between Don's uncanny sense of humour and Ellie's zest for life, they both impacted us greatly on so many levels.
Although we haven't seen much of Ellie over the past years, since the cottage was sold, we will always consider them an extension of our family.

So sorry for the families loss. I had the privilege of helping Elly at her home doing Homecare. We had our ups and downs but she was an amazing person and a strong willed woman as well. She will be dearly missed.
