Passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on November 7, 2017 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Jacob Vander Wal. Loving mother of Pietje Power of Strathroy, Alie (Gerry) Larose of Brantford, Richard (Luanne) Vander Wal of Strathroy, Ken (Ruth) Vander Wal of Denfield. Survived by her 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She will be missed by her relatives in the Netherlands.

Visitation will take place from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM Thursday November 9, 2017 at Strathroy East Christian Reformed Church 476 Metcalfe St. E Strathroy. Funeral service will be held Friday November 10, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Friends Cemetery in Coldstream. Donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
