Mr. Murray Jones QC, who Sylvia worked for until he retired, appreciated her excellent work,
during the years she was his secretary. Murray passed in 2004.
She was a wonderful friend, and a great and caring Mom, as she always spoke about her kids,

I find it hard not to pick up the phone and expect her there. Her joy was her family, she loved you deeply.

To Rob and Amy my deepest condolence. Your mom was a wonderful lady. I enjoyed her dry sense of humour at the family reunions. My mom really enjoyed her company. I have fond recollections of when we were all smaller of trips to pick blueberries and going to the beach for a swim. If only we could go back to those times again. Sylvia babysat me and my sister Karen on Sunday nights when our parents were bowling in the All Saints league at Lalich Lanes many years ago and Sylvia, as my sister-in-law, Joan's, sister, was family to us and was a frequent and valued Sunday dinner guest at the Grogan house.

Mrs Westgate was like a second mother to all of Rob's friends during high school. We were always welcome in their home and I can't believe what incredible patience and love she had for us all. She was a solid fixture in my life during those formative years and she gave all of us support and advice when we needed it most. My heart and condolences are with you Rob and Amy. She touched so many lives in small but very meaningful and profound ways. Thank you for everything Sylvia, rest in peace.
