Obituary of John Feenstra

FEENSTRA, Mr. Jan (John) 1928-2017 “The Pizza Man”, proud owner of the Pinetree Restaurant With his loving family around him, on Monday, April 24, 2017, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Beloved husband of 64 years of Jeanne (Tiete Van Brug). Loving father of Harry Feenstra (Karen), Joanne Feenstra (Steve), and Simon Feenstra (Sharon). Grandfather of Amanda (Chris), Jennifer (Wade), Janine (Chris), Johnny (Samantha), Jonathan, Sacha (Jerritt), and Shawn (Sarah), and 10 loving great-grandchildren. Also missed by his loving sister Jelly and his extended family in Holland. Also missed by his nephews Harry John (Ottawa) and Sybo Boersma (Lambeth). Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, 32 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy, on Wednesday evening, April 26, 2017, from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Thursday afternoon, April 27, 2017, at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
