Obituary of Oscar de Schiffert

Peacefully, at Country Terrace Nursing Home, on Saturday, March 11th, 2017, Oscar de Schiffert passed away in his 82nd year.  Best friend of Barbara Forron. Dear brother of  Sipke J. (Joyce), Albert (late Edith), and the late Engeline; brother-in-law of Ken (Joanne) Forron. Oscar was predeceased by his parents Jelle and Jean (nee de Boer) de Schiffert. He will be remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends and family will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY (519-245-1023), 32 Metcalfe Street West, on Tuesday evening from 6 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy, on Wednesday afternoon at 1pm, with visitation one hour prior.
