Obituary of Albert Tamming

Albert Tamming, born in Beilen, Netherlands on December 28, 1937, died at Shalom Manor, Grimsby on December 17, 2016. He was promoted to glory in his 79th year. The fifth son of John and Grace Tamming, faithful husband of Martha (nee Linker), devoted father of Bonnie (Chris Desjardins), John A. (Wendy), Joanne, Gary (Rose) and David (Arlene). Loving Opa of Jessica (James), Katie-Beth(Brad), Annalise, Mark, Daniel, Jason (Maria), Spencer and Lauren. Great grandfather of Cooper and Cecelia. A loving uncle to many nephews and nieces. Brother to Ralph, Martin, Jim, Johan, Gerard and their spouses. Predeceased by his brother John and grandson Timothy. Upon marriage to Martha in 1959 he was warmly welcomed by Dinie, Klaas, Helen, their spouses and the rest of the Linker clan. The Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy at 2:00 p.m. followed by visitation and refreshments. A private interment will be held prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shalom Manor or a Christian school of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.
