Obituary of George William Walker

Peacefully, at Strathroy Hospital on Friday, December 2nd, 2016. George William Walker of RR#5 Strathroy at the age of 87. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Donna (Brock), his daughter, Marie Baker and his grandchildren Steven, Laura and Ryan Baker. Much loved by sisters and brothers in law, Isabel and Lawrence Martin, Ilene and Allan Trothen, Karen Eldridge (Bill McQueston 2013) and Allan and Sharon Brock, his cousins Robert and Jean Walker and Hugh and Grace Walker and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Lillian (Field) Walker. George was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church for 69 years and an elder for 43 years. Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Tuesday, December 5th, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Strathroy on Wednesday, December 7th, 2016 at 11 am. Interment Strathroy cemetery.
