So saddened to hear of Evelyn's passing. I had the honor of working with Evelyn at the Middlesex-London Home Care Program for many years. She was definitely one of the bright spots to coming to work and we shared many laughs over the years. My favourite story is of her and a couple of other case managers being in Toronto and telling other visitors at the hotel they were staying at that they were mothers of players. She had a heart of gold and was a wonderful co-worker and friend.
Evelyn, you will be missed by many but never forgotten!

My heartfelt condolences to Al and the family.
Evie was so much fun to work with and a great friend to have. She stood by what she believed in and spoke up when she thought an injustice had been done. Evie loved her family and took great pride in them. She did love to shop and it made her very happy when she found "just the right thing" for one of her children. I remember she loved to go to the states to on the American Thanksgiving with Joyce and the girls to shop. Rest in Peace Evie.

My sympathy to Al and family on Evelyn's passing. I remember that spunkiness of hers. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to work along side her. She was always talking about how proud she was of her family.

It is with great sadness that I learned of Evelyn's passing. She was a great friend and mentor that I met while training to be a nurse. She will always be remembered for her sincere honesty and loving care for her patients. She also had a humorous side. I will never forget the time in our first year when Evelyn was caught watering the patient's flowers with the men's urinal.
She had deep consideration for others. When I was ill it was Evelyn who organized a reunion and time to reminisce at my home. I will always cherish the times we spent together. My condolences are with her family at this time.

You just had to meet her.
Then you never, ever forgot her. What an absolutely unique individual. She had a way of making you feel you were heard and that she respected what you felt. She had an opinion and she participated. Peaches took seriously the things that she felt were right and she knew how to have fun. She could be tough as leather when neccesary .... or soft as a flower petal.
And Evie adored her family.
Wow, I loved her and I will miss thinking that she is just down the road in Strathroy.
