Obituary of Gertrude J. Timmermans

Peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Strathmere Lodge in Strathroy, Gertrude J. Timmermans (nee Peters) passed away at the age of 82. Loving wife of John Timmermans for 59 years. Beloved mother of Ken (Antoinette), Martin (Joanne), Ted, Rita (Kevin) Lewis, Gerry (Ann). Predeceased by her son Jack (1995). Dear grandmother of Jason, Lynn (Jordan), Julie, Michael (Krista), Ryan (Trudy), Kayla (David), Rachel (Martin), Katie, Jamie (Shannon), Jenna (Tim), Jacqueline, Jasmine, Mikaela and great grandmother of Mazie, Norah, Ashton, Molly, Benny, Cory, Hailey and Colton. Dear sister of Anne (John) Geerts, Carol (Louie) Kennes, Rita (Frank) Vanderkant and Bob (Willie) Peters. Predeceased by siblings Nellie Dortmans, John Peters and Mary Peters. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 on Friday, November 11th from 12-4 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 159 Ann Street, Parkhill, on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 am with Father John Pirt officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Catholic Cemetery.
