Obituary of Peter Renkema
Renkema: Peter
Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, October 31, 2016, at the age of 82, the Lord took Peter to be with Him, following a lengthy illness. Born in The Netherlands to John (1987) and Anna (1987) Renkema, Peter immigrated to Canada in 1950. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne in 2005. Devoted father of John (Linda) of Uniondale, Ron (Debbie) of Oakville and Wayne (Gloria) Renkema of Strathroy. Cherished grandfather of Kate (Tyler), Adam (Chantel), Trevor (Kelsea), Andrey, Ally, Mitchell, Lucas, Noah and Abbey. Great grandfather to Ashlynn and Aria. Dear brother of Etty (Klaas) Leistra, John (Wilma) Renkema, Bill (Ann) Renkema, Paul (Teresa) Renkema, Matt (Nelda) Renkema and Jean (Mike) Talsma. Brother in law of Rita (Klaas) Van Wieren. Peter will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive Friends at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service in celebration of Peter's life will be held at Westmount Christian Reformed Church, 405 Drury Lane, Strathroy on Friday, November 4th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
