Hockey was a major part of his life, playing minor hockey in Strathroy and Watford and senior hockey for the Watford Mustangs. For the last 22 years, Joe was equipment manager for the Strathroy Rockets, a position he enjoyed immensely. He was a constant figure in his signature red, white and blue toque at the arena. He took great pleasure in helping the boys turn into mature men as they went on to future hockey endeavors. He will be greatly missed by his hockey family and friends. Cremation has taken place.
