Obituary of Doris Eliza Denning

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy on Sunday, August 14th, 2016. Doris Eliza Denning (nee Topping) of Strathroy in her 87th year. Dear wife of William “Bill” Denning also of Strathmere Lodge. Loved mother of Rick (Lynn) Denning of Mount Brydges, Randy (Becky) Denning and Gayle (Howard) Ramsay of Strathroy. Cherished grandmother of Bill, Josh (Lindsay), Brett (Courtney), Lesley (Jonathan), Brianna (Nathan), Brooke (Derek), Mary-Lyn (Mark) and Julie-Ann and also survived by her 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Dorothy Pedden of London and Ruby Clark of Dartmouth, N.S. and sister in law of Alan and Helen Denning. Doris will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and her friend Carol McLellan. Predeceased by her parents Laverne and Alice Topping, brothers in law Archie Pedden and Bud Clark, sister in law Norma (Denning) Frizzle and nephew Archie Pedden Jr. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY, where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
