Obituary of George Ernest Skinner

Peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospice in London, George Ernest Skinner of Strathroy passed away at the age of 77. Loving husband of Mary Anne (nee Case). Beloved father of Jeanette (Stig) Jeppesen and Doug (Tracey) Skinner. Proud grandpa of Karina (Eric) Proulx, Danial Skinner, Noah Skinner and the late Patrick Skinner (1995). Dear brother of Dorothy Rodgers, Betty Charlton, the late William Skinner and the late Irene Whitfield. Sadly missed by extended family Jean Hailstone, Shirley Gregory, Ruth Huston, Marion Skinner and their families. Cherished friend of Annie Milliken. Friends will be received on Saturday, July 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at DENNING'S OF STRATHROY 519-245-1023 where a funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 3rd at 12:00 pm with Reverend Shelly Butterfield-Kocis officiating. Cremation to follow. An Interment will be held at Poplar Hill Cemetery at a later date.
