Obituary of Ronald John McLeod

“Our guardian in life is now our guardian angel” It is with heavy hearts the family of Ronald McLeod announce his peaceful passing surrounded by his loving family in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Jean McLeod for 58 special years. Proud Dad of Daryl (Belinda) McLeod, Kate (Ron) Tyler, and Lisa (Bill) Seeley. Cherished Papa of Megan, Tara, Alex, Sean, Sarah, Stephanie, Jennifer (Ryan), Cameron (Shanlea), Laura (Matt), Craig, and Aleigha (Scottie). “Other Papa” of Mackenzie, Austin, Brody, Cooper, Weston, Laikyn, Parker, and Rowan. Survived by his siblings Sharon Lapointe and Dale Whitelaw. Predeceased by his mother Christena Pearl, his brother Robert Whitelaw and special nephew Bobby Whitelaw. Ron will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ron’s legacy is his endless caring and accepting personality for anyone who needed support or a shoulder to lean on. A celebration to begin at 1p.m on June 26th, 2016 at Trillium Village, Strathroy with a memorial service to follow at 2p.m. A special thank you to those who assisted in his journey.
