Obituary of Lena Josephine Marriott

Marriott: Helena “Lena” (nee Couckuyt) Peacefully passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Saturday, June 4th, 2016; Lena Josephine Marriott of Strathroy, Ontario in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Vernon Marriott (1998). Loving mother of Joseph (Helen) Marriott of Roslin, Betty Baechler of Strathroy, Linda Corrigan of Chatham, Patricia Phaneuf (Shane Coleman) of Strathroy and Janet (Adrian) Prelaz of Chatham. Loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Celina and Joseph Couckuyt, 3 brothers Eugene, Mike and Cyril Couckuyt, 1 grandson and 2 great grandchildren. Friends will be received at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at DENNING’S on Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery.
