Uncle Bob was a caring man with a great sense of humour. There was never a dull moment when he was around. jokes, quips, anecdotes abounded! The one joke that he played on us was on our wedding day when he encouraged the young ones to tape the handles on the car doors closed and pour confetti into the air intake. When we finally got into the car and turned on the engine we were enveloped in a cloud of confetti! The car was still blowing out confetti when we eventually sold the car. What I'll always remember about Uncle Bob was his great sense of humour - he always left people with a smile on their face.
The whole Mills clan has such fond memories of our family get togethers - which often included the cribbage championship and 'passing of the shirt' - which I'm sure Bob had in his possession more than once.
Bob could tell a story like few others, and we'll truly miss that.

I was sorry to hear of Bob's passing. My mother's maiden name was MacKenzie and Bob was her cousin. Recently he got in touch with me and sent me photos of my mother when she was young girl visiting her grandparents on the family farm near London. I was very touched and grateful to Bob for sending the pictures. My condolences to all his family.
