I am so sorry for your loss, and the impact its had on such a strong family.My heart is so broken! Theres nothing easy to say at a time like this, its just so devestating. I was telling my grandma on monday about a dream i had. It was about my grandmpa Larry, he was sitting on the edge of a dock looking out to a beautiful view with mountains and fresh water. I woke up thinking he must really miss my grandma, probably thinking of her. But when i heard the news, i feel like he was waiting for Marilyn to join him. We can't control life. All we can do is go for the ride and make sure we appreciate every second we are given. Marilyn was the epitome of that statement. She cared about everyone, she loved her family unconditionally and she was at her absolute best when she spent time with her grandsons Hayden and Hunter. Having had the honor of being a part of her life forever changed mine. The miles between us didn't matter - I always looked up to Marilyn as a mentor. A few years older than me, she was a great resource to help me get through those trying times in life, especially after putting up with her boys for all those years! Her advice and humor were gladly shared, usually with a glass of wine or two whether on the phone across the miles or sitting next to each other. We developed a friendship that far outweighed the fact that we were cousins.
I will miss you Cuz. You were a light that I always looked forward to when travelling "home". Thank you for taking care of us, for loving us. Rest in peace.
