It is with sadness that you have left us to join my father, Brian Hounsell, but we know you would have stayed if you could. I am thankful for the times we spent together, the thoughtful advice you would give and the smile you had all the time. Although you had to go, you will be in our hearts forever.

Some people come into our lives and quietly stay, Others stay for a while leaving footprints in our hearts and we are never the same!!! Our Uncle Murray was one of those people that we are all grateful to of had the pleasure to call Uncle. Some of my most cherished memories are that of spending time camping and visiting with him and the rest of his family! He could always make time to play,tease or just talk to all of us and always left us feeling very loved. He will surely be missed by many. I hope that he was greeted in heaven by his brother (my father) and is free of any pain. We will think of him often and smile each and every time!

My family and I extend our condolences to the Hounsell family. He was a wonderful Uncle and I have a lot of great memories of being at his house and he and his family visiting us as kids up north. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am very proud to call Murray my uncle. He was always loving and kind and made you feel so special. Some of my best memories in life have been with Murray, Marjorie and family.
His trips to Calgary with Marjorie to spend time with myself and Craig were extremely precious. He absolutely enjoyed fishing on our boat and felt our land was a piece of paradise. He was loved by all who knew him and will be till the end of time. Sure hope he is with my father Brian laughing and catching up.
