When Ann moved from our community, I had told her how lonely it seems that she was no longer as close, and, she would smile. Ann was a friend and an exceptional neighbour. I loved my time spent with her as she passionately put her focus and energy into the flower committee on the Melbourne Fair Board. I will always remember the laughs we had as we tried to come up with clever ways of displaying the flowers and then implementing them.
Our deepest sympathy is extended to all her family. We trust that the love and memories of Ann, that you will carry with you, will sustain you and give you peace as you walk through the grieving process.
And our blessings and love are being spent with you Ann, as you travel on your final journey home.

Hello Everybody,
I have been thinking about Aunt Ann over the last couple days and just wanted to share my precious memories of the special times I had with her before any of you came along!
She was the first one to cut my hair. She quickly got rid of my curls and gave me the bangs and the short hair cut that I had for several years. About the same time I found out that I would be the flower girl in her wedding - because I always smiled and that would make for good pictures!! Little did she know that on the day of the wedding, I would not smile at all! At her shower at her Mother's place, she took me upstairs and gave me a pretty necklace with a flower on it. I promptly lost it and my Mom spanked me. Her wedding was a dream come true for me. Aunt Ann was beautiful! She was my idol! I loved visiting and being with her because she was so "modern" and she always gave me extra attention!!
That special connection carried on for the rest of our lives - no matter how often or how seldom we saw each other. I am so very grateful to have these memories - and many more, of a wonderful woman that I am proud to call Aunt Ann.
I am thinking of you all today with sadness but also with pride that she was one of a kind and that I was lucky enough to have a small share in her life!
Love
Suzanne

My sincere sympathy to all of you in the loss of your Mom. She was certainly a very special part of our family here at Countryside Manor and we are cherished to have the fond memories we have of Ann. She was a true lady with a wonderful sense of humour and great wit. She could make you laugh and also tell you what you needed to know. She was so very proud of her family and her smile lit up a room when you would come to visit.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time.

Launie, Brenda, Peggy, Kevin, Wendy, Rob, and families, Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for you at this time. She will always have a special place in my heart, and I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of her. She was the one I would go to visit if I needed a laugh, and also the one I would go to if I needed a strict talking to. She was definitely a genuine woman, who's love for her family was inspirational. Ann will missed by everyone who was blessed enough to know her.

She was my favourite aunt... And I always told her that! Childhood memories abound! Summer holidays, Bubbles, guinea pigs, perms, cereal for bedtime snack and church on Sunday morning (with her hat pin of course!) She and my mom are so closely intertwined when I look back. I hold those memories in my heart.
To all of you I wish peace and comfort in knowing how much Aunt Ann meant to everyone.

I have very fond memories of this wonderful Aunt. She had a great sense of humor and a wonderful laugh. I had a great time on sleepovers at the Flechers and I will always remember the day she cut my hair. I alwys thought I was named after her and Peggy was named after my Mom. I am proud to carry her name.
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
Love you all.
