Obituary of Patricia Joan Pierce

Patricia “Joan” Pierce went to be with her Lord Jesus on December 14th, 2015 at the age of 83; having lived the verse: Serve the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs (Psalm 100:2). Joan was born in London, Ontario on May 25th, 1932 to Charles and Mabel Smith. She passed away in Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Allan Pierce (1996). Loving mother of Doug (Bonnie) of Strathroy, Ken (Diane) of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Lisa (Kenneth) Fallin of Denton, Texas. Loving grandmother to Ben and Danielle; Rachel and Alyssa; Courtney and Candace. Great grandmother to Aidan and Tristan; Liam and Gavin; Katelyn, Elliot and Evelyn; Madeline and Ethan; Julie and Colby. She was predeceased by her nine brothers and sisters. In keeping with Joan’s wishes cremation has taken place, with a Memorial Service to be held in the spring. We are very thankful for the wonderful care, love and attention the staff of Strathmere gave to her over the last six years. We would also like to thank L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital Dialysis Unit for the care she received for the past 7 years. Expressions of sympathy may be made by a donation to either the Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or L.H.S.C.
