Dear Susan,
Thank you so much for your generosity of spirit during the years we spent living so closely together. Although we saw less and less of each other after I started my PhD and was involved in getting married and having kids, I often treasure the many weekends you opened your home to me as a guest when I moved to Ontario from Alberta in 2007.
I always admired how hard you worked operating your driving range on Wellington Rd. S. You worked long days, often with both of your girls in tow. I know you cherished that plot of land because it was your Dad's pride and joy. Now you two are together and he can tell you himself about what a great job you did. And together with your parents you can watch your girls grow and guide them spiritually.
I know it was a difficult decision to give up your business, but I admired your decision. You chose to focus on time with your family. You chose to be closer to your home, and in doing so you were closer to your girls. Only now can we reflect on how important that decision was, and how those extra hours were made all the more important by your passing.
Jessica and I are heartbroken we couldn't visit you in the hospital or attend your wake and your memorial--your memorial is taking place as I write this. But, honestly Susan I know you wouldn't mind. You were so kind, generous and so laid back. I know in your own unassuming, thoughtful, fun way that you would say to me, "Don't worry about it. I understand. Focus on the good times." I know that's what you'd say and that brings me a lot of strength and comfort.
Speaking of comfort, the most important thing is that you are comfortable now. Finding a place to rest. Remaining in our hearts until we meet again.
Rest in peace, Susan. We love you.

My heartfelt sympathies to the Muyleart family and especially to Roger and your girls. She was one of a kind and so soon was taken from us, but so glad we had alittle time with her

I am deeply saddened today to hear the news of Susan's passing. Beth and I offer our thoughts and prayers to your entire family. When Rene passed along the driving range to Susan and family, Susan allowed me to spend hours each day bettering my golf game to the point where I became a golf pro - and she did not charge me a dime. I owe a lot to her, and she became a good friend. RIP Susan. You are missed.

Susan was a very special woman. She came in to our store many times for lunch and was one of those people who always brought a smile to my face no matter what type of day I was having. We were honored to know her and her smile, laughter and basic joy of life made an impact on all of us here at our store.
I know she will be missed greatly by her immediate family and friends but know that she touched many of us who dealt with her on a day to day basis professionally.
I am grateful to have called her friend and will miss her deeply.
