It is so sad to loose such a nice neighbor. She was a wonderful friend to us as we were to Marie
My Sympathies to all of her children, spouses and grandchildren. She talked of you all often and we felt as if we knew you all.
We are going to miss all of the small deserts Marie made and could not eat them all, it was a pleasure to share with her.,
All the best to all of you and I hope to be able to see you when we arrive home.
Remember her with Joy in your hearts.
Marie's neighbors, Alex and Donna

My heart and prayers go out to you all.
I have had the great fortune to have been Marie's neighbour for over 10 years. Marie was the kindest person I have ever met. She kept to herself mostly, but there were times that we had conversations. When I lent books to Donna Potter (another neighbour), Donna would then give them to Marie to read. I would come home from work to find neatly deposited on my breezeway step, a carefully wrapped bag of books that she had returned. Just recently I assisted Marie with getting her compost to the weekly truck. She was in great spirits that day, concerned about getting every leaf gone once and for all!
I will miss Marie very much, her wave, her meek "hello", and seeing the solitary light burning in her side window.
May God watch over all of you during this difficult time.
Carole Klaver
