I just learned tonight when I went to visit our mom, Doris Castle, at Sprucedale that Violet had passed...please accept our condolences. I will miss walking down the hall and just before I turned the corner to go to mom's room, Vi would always greet me with a great big smile and wave her arm high in the air. She was always so sweet!
Vi was always a delight to visit, always concerned about what was going on in the church and in my own family. She was a great blessing to everyone up at Sprucedale, keeping them "on their toes" and making them laugh. She was a truly unique and wonderful person, and she will be sorely missed.

My sincerest condolences to Marty, Debbie and their family. I went to school with most of their children and know how much their Grandmother was loved.
I remember Violet from my days at Sprucedale, she held a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers to all of you during this sad time. Rest in peace Vi!
