Obituary of Bob Dale

With great sadness, the family announces the peaceful passing of Bob Dale on Sunday, May 10th, 2015. Devoted husband of Judy (nee Matthews) for fifty years. Loving dad of Karen and Ian Hale, Mike and Susan Dale, and Mary Ann and Roland McAlpine. Best grandpa ever to Zach, Avery and Ben Hale, Taylor and Jake Dale, and Jack and Brad McAlpine. Survived by his brother Barry and Judy Dale, and brother-in-law Bill and Marj Matthews. Cherished by several nieces, nephews and “Uncle Bob” to many. He will be sadly missed by his many close friends and neighbours. Bob is predeceased by his parents John and Mary Dale, his sisters Margaret Dale, Mary Dale, and Agnes and John Moore. Friends and family will be received at Denning’s of Strathroy, 32 Metcalfe Street West, on Thursday evening from 7 to 9pm and again on Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm, where a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 11am. A Lions Club Service will be held on Thursday evening at 7pm.
