Obituary of Ypke Posthumus

Peacefully passed on May 1st, 2015 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital in his 80th year to meet his Heavenly Father. In my Father’s house are many rooms (John 14:2). Beloved husband of Gerda (Gooitske) for 56 loving years. Loving father of Jaap Posthumus (Paula), Ed Posthumus (Gea), Hein Posthumus (Annemarie), Pete Posthumus (Janice), and Greta Joosse (Andre). Cherished Pake of Trudy, Ypke, Gonda, Sybrich, Jorrit, Sjors, Matthew, Julie, Felicia, Jasmine, and Carissa. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 3rd, 2015 at Providence United Reformed Church (447 Second Street, Strathroy) from 7-9p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4th at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Lung Association.
