Leon and family. We were so sorry to hear the news of Liz's passing. Life is fragile and should be celebrated everyday. Knowing Liz she would not want to be thought of in sorrow but in happiness. To Leon and family,
I worked with Liz at Bell (100 Dundas)
My memories of Liz bring a smile... She brought common sense and a sense of humour everywhere she went.
I cas still see her at meetings, with a crochet hook in her hand, and a ball of wool in her lap. Whenever she had anything to say, she would wave her hook as she spoke.
At break times, Liz told hilarious stories, usually about Leon and the girls.
Liz's stories left us with no doubt that Leon and her "girls" were the Joy and Love in her life. All else came a distant second.

I'm so sorry to find out about Liz . . especially with her overcoming the previous surgery the way she did! I can't imagine how Leon is doing . . hugs to him and the girls and their families. I still very much mourn my dad and it's been over a year now. Sometimes it just doesn't seem fair . . and Liz was such an important part of so many lives. Seems she had countless friends, was adored by coworkers . . she had a magnetic personality and I liked her straight up way. I'll cherish that pink afghan she made for Lauren's birth . . though we all were sooooo sure I was having a boy lol . . Liz and Leon guessed it right! Glad she was right - all those hours spent!
