Obituary of Gordon Raymond Jones

Peacefully passed surrounded by his loving family on January 8th, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. Gordon was born in Sarnia on June 23, 1937. Proud father of Sherri (Glenn) Sutherland of Rodney, Gord (Elida) Jones of Mt. Brydges, Cindy (Robert) Vanbostelen of Calgary, Alberta, and Robin (Don) McLaughlin of Stony Plain, Alberta. Beloved grandpa of 11 special grandchildren. Cherished great-grandpa of 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Ernie and John Jones and sister Nancy Mae. Predeceased by his grandson Donald McLaughlin. Predeceased by his brother Bill Jones. Gord will be remembered by many extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place as per Gord’s wishes. Gord’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for caring for their dad. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia.
