Dad,
I'm so lucky to have been granted the time to get to know and love you. You are one of those rare people who didn't say much, but when you did, it was ALWAYS something worth listening to.
One of my most favorite things to do with you since I became an (unofficial) Eagleden was to say something outrageous to make you laugh. You had the best grin in the world, and I always loved to see it on your face.
Every time David and I would walk into the house, the happiness and welcoming hugs we'd get made me truly feel like I had 2 Dads who both loved me, and whom I loved dearly in return.
My heart is breaking for all who've been so saddened by your passing, but someday that pain will lessen because there are so, so many good memories of you, and I believe that with time, those good memories are the things that people will think of when they think of you, and they'll cherish them the most.
I love you, I already miss you, and may you rest in peace, Dear Dad.
